Lace up those running and walking shoes for our Turkey Trot 5K/1 Mile Walk Race at Upper Richland Community Center (Linrick Golf Course). The event will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9:15 am-11:00 am.
 
Participants will be able to run or walk on a USTA certified course through our scenic golf course with a chance of earning a finisher medal and/or charm in their age category, while still practicing DHEC & CDC safety measures and social distancing.
 
Cost of the 5K Race and Walk for ages 4-12 will be $15 per person and ages 13 and up will be $25 per person. All participants registered for the event will receive a racing bib, t-shirt, and small goodie bag. 

Cost of the 1 Mile Walk will be $15 before October 31 and $20 after.
 
All runners will have their race times recorded and photographed with the option of purchasing their finisher photos. All winners will be announced at the conclusion of the race and including,the overall 5K male and female finisher of the race. Late registration fee of $5 will be assessed after November 18, 2022. Commonly Asked Questions:
Strollers are welcome and participants can listen to music while running or walking turning the Turkey Trot event. There are no pets allowed during the run or walk however, pets are allowed to attend the event and cheer for our participants.

Please no parking at the LinRick Golf Course as it will be open during normal business hours. Please Park at the Upper Richland Community Center during the Turkey Trot event.

Pre-registration, registration table, snack table and restrooms will be located at Upper Richland Community Center along with Richland County Recreation Commission Staff if you have any questions.

The 5K Course and Walk will be marked with directional signage with mile markers throughout the course. Parts of the course will have partial dirt passages; however, the course is paved throughout the race and walk. Start and Finish Lines will be at the same location.
